Day 49 - Sunday, March 21

We have made up our mind - tonight is the last one in Zion (our 17th).  It was not an easy decision and it still may change by morning - but right now we plan on leaving.  But, we don't even know where we are going!  Can't make up our minds.  Looks like Monument Valley, UT.

But we just "knocked" around a little today.  Took the dogs to a park in Springdale that allowed them "off leash".  Never knew it existed until today - our final day.  The Virgin River runs through it, it has real grass, and a trail to hike with them without the restraint of the leashes.
Drove around the foothills to see how the "big money" lives.  They do live well!  These are homes you cannot see from the highway.  Have to drive up a steep winding road to get to, but what a view they have!
Stopped by a little restaurant with outside seating we have been meaning to visit but put off until today.  Wish we had done so sooner.  Great food, service, view of Zion, and our dogs were allowed at the table with us.
A few pictures follow.  Next up - ????

Chincia - the dinner was country ham, green beans, new potatoes, and more!

This is what we face at every National Park...no dogs on trails!
My lunch/dinner today - panko crusted deep-fried chile rellenos stuffed with goat cheese and served with grilled shrimp
Ellens - carne asada tacos with rare filet mignon (not ground beef)

We wanted a picture of us at the Zion entrance before we left so we took one on our way back into the park after our meal.  I set the timer to 2 sec by mistake instead of 10 so this is me running to get set for the picture.  Couldn't get there in 2 sec!

Second attempt with time to spare!
